Regulation Best Interest and Client Relationship Summary
The SEC recently adopted the new industry-wide standard of conduct for broker-dealers and associated persons known as Regulation Best Interest (or Reg BI) and introduced the Client Relationship Summary or Form CRS. CFSC wants to help you understand what these changes mean to you. Reg BI is the general standard of conduct for broker-dealers and associated persons to act in the retail customer’s best interest and not place its own financial or other interests ahead of your own when making investment recommendations. The Client Relationship Summary or Form CRS provides you with details of the nature of your relationship with CFSC and a summary of the types of products or services we offer and the costs or fees associated with those products and services. Reading the Form CRS can help you make more informed decisions about your investments.
